I did it!!

 Before I blog about my birthday celebration, I wanted you to see what I did for Lindsey....since you know we share the same birthday and all. This year for our birthday I knew Lindsey would be in the mission field so I wanted to do something for her she wouldnt expect. Here's what I came up with.

I made her a quilt!! This was my first experience making a quilt and it was a ton of work but so much fun. I want to thank my bestie Tiffany and my Mom for helping me sew, and put this cute quilt together in just a short 2 weeks. I love the way it turned out! I wanted something fun and funky and I got it! It will be perfect for all those rainy days! Now, I want one for myself...haha. I think I will slowly begin working on mine.

22 years

It's today, It's today! (exactly, haha) It's my birthday! I love birthday's! Why...because they are your's and they are original. It is a day that you deserve the right to feel like the most important person in the world. I woke up this morning to fun notes and signs all over my apartment and even on my car! And...it's only the beginning! I have a feeling today is going to be a great day, because it's my day and it's going to be extra special! I can't wait to see what my 22nd year has in store

And...I miss her!!
And...It's only been a week
And...I still cry when I read her letters
And...I feel like 18 months is a really LONG time
And...I am constantly sending her letters on Dear Elder
And...I dont know what's in store for her, And.. I dont know what's in store for me
But... We will keep eachother going. We have promised eachother to enjoy every moment of everyday.
And...You can bet we will keep eachother updated. With our mulitiple weekly "chats"...I mean emails!

Congratulations Rog and Ranya! We are all so excitied to have this adorable baby girl be the newest edition to the Grimes gang. Baby tate, I can't wait to get to know you and I plan on spending lots of quality time with you. Hopefully that is okay with you, and your parents.



PS: Guess who bought tickets to rascal flatts... Me!! I can't wait...Sept 9, 2011. I think I am going to make a paper countdown chain and hang it up in my room because I am just that excited!!
